Radar sensors by Fraunhofer FHR make full use of this unique capability and enhance machine vision possibilities. Fields of application are non-destructive testing, high-precision positioning and ranging and detection of objects or impurities. Radar can be used for imaging and to determine material properties. Autonomous classification in real time is enabled by combining modern radar systems and methods with cognitive software.
