Mikrotron distributes Fastec high-speed cameras in Germany and Austria
Mikrotron GmbH, a developer, producer and distributor of digital high-speed cameras, hard-disk recording systems and components for machine vision, is taking over the distribution of Fastec high-speed cameras in Germany and Austria.
"We are pleased to be offering Fastec cameras in the German and Austrian market. By signing the agreement with Fastec Imaging we are able to expand Mikrotron's product range. Fastec products ideally complement our own product range, because it gives us a much broader capability in offering our customers the perfect system for every special application," said Juergen Zimmermann, Vice President Marketing and Sales, Mikrotron.

Fastec manufactures portable, point-and-shoot, high-speed digital video cameras for motion analysis applications in plant maintenance and field service troubleshooting, research, military test and instrumentation, and sports training and biomechanics.
In other news, Mikrotron has announced that Menzel Vision & Robotics Pvt Ltd has become its distribution partner in India. According to Mikrotron, this agreement comes at a time when it is greatly expanding its international sales partner network.
Menzel Vision & Robotics, based in Mumbai, is a major provider of imaging technology in India. The firm distributes industrial cameras, high-speed cameras, infrared cameras, vision systems, optics and illumination units developed by some of the leading names in the imaging business sector.
