In the division “Smart Sensing and Electronics“ we develop and realize customer-specific and future-oriented solutions in the fields of Electronic Imaging, Integrated Sensor Systems, Medical Engineering and IC Design. As innovation driver, we are the leading contact for custom-tailored solutions in the fields of smart sensors, image processing and IC Design. In close cooperation with our clients and based on the latest scientific results, we achieve technological breakthroughs for their long-term success. Our interdisciplinary teams of scientists work closely together to ensure our solutions satisfy our clients´ particular requirements. Intelligent sensors are key elements of modern, autonomous systems. We develop solutions for measuring and inspection tasks in the industrial quality assurance, automotive industry as well as for medical devices and multimedia, for example: SHORE® Face Detection and Analysis, POLKA Polarization Camera, solutions for microscopy and digital pathology as well as endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, integrated sensor systems for image, optical, position, magnetic field and other sensors.
