More than 230 different body-in-white parts are hot-stamped by the Spanish metal processor Gestamp for automotive companies. Since the company measures 33,500 parts per year, they can identify more quickly which tools need to be replaced. They simply could not tackle their measuring jobs with the existing coordinate measuring machine – but now processes are running smoothly with the ZEISS AIBox.
