EMVA Organizes Member Booth at LogiMAT 2024
For the first time the EMVA will exhibit at LogiMAT – International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management – taking place March 19-21,
2024 in Stuttgart, Germany.
‘LogiMAT is an extremely well booked trade show and with the limited available space we could not fully satisfy the high demand to become co-exhibitor by member entities. Nevertheless we are very grateful that show organizer EUROEXPO opened this opportunity to our members and we are looking forward to a fruitful cooperation in the years to come.‘ said Thomas Lübkemeier, EMVA General Manager.
The joint booth will be the common platform for in total seven EMVA members to showcase their specific expertise, products and/or services towards the logistics industry, a continuously growing user segment for vision technology.
During this year’s LogiMAT 1,563 exhibitors from 39 countries showed their product and solutions to 62,343 international trade visitors under the motto “Connecting Smart Networks”. The Stuttgart trade fair center with more than 125,000 square meters exhibition area in all 10 halls was completely fully booked.

Ageing more slowly in space?
Microscopy application in mini-space satellite to study human cells
The importance of space exploration is increasing, and more and more astronauts are cavorting in space. But what effects does weightlessness have on the ageing of the human body? How do certain cells develop under milligravity and microgravity conditions, such as those found on small moons and asteroids? The Swiss Artificial Gravity Experiment (SAGE) is dedicated to this research task. A team of students from various Swiss universities (Academic Space Initiative Switzerland ARIS) wants to investigate how the ageing process in humans changes in space and how cellular senescence influences the development of ageing and age-related disorders.
