OOCI – Open Optics Camera Interface – was included into GenICam SFNC in May 2021, which is the solid ground for the quite new OOCI Standard achieving its primary goals.
Now the Working Group is focussing on the physical interface for optical components inside or attached to machine vision cameras for the first reference as testing implementations. This will lead to certified products and by that support the main goal of the OOCI Standard: good product interoperability for the users of optical components inside or attached to machine vision cameras.
The next meeting will take place in spring 2025 as part of the IVSM Spring 2025*.
